My First visit
At Bloom Holistic Dentistry, we treat you like how we treat our family: with warmth, thoroughness and patience.
Prior to your first visit, we will email you a comprehensive medical history form that encompasses your current state of health, medical issues you may be experiencing, goals of dental care and nutrition status. As your health partner, we will review this information with you during the visit and aim to find connections between dental health and physical wellbeing.

Financial Information:
If you would like us to use your insurance, please provide your insurance information 48 hours prior to your visit.
When you arrive, expect to be greeted by a friendly face. Our front office staff is here to help you with any questions you may have from treatment scheduling to referrals to payment. We take most insurance plans. Since each plan is vastly different from the next, we can help you to navigate your insurance coverage. What To Expect
Please allow 1.5-2 hours for your first comprehensive visit. During this visit, we will use a variety of diagnostic tools including radiographs, CBCT, 3D scanning techniques, direct visualization with intraoral cameras, and even take a few clicks of your bite and smile. We use low radiation digital x-rays and CT scans when absolutely necessary in order to limit any exposures. Our main goal is to reach beyond the superficial layer of the teeth and gums in order to obtain a comprehensive look at your oral health and establish a roadmap for your dental care.
We take a lot of time to get to know you in this patient experience. If for any reason you are running late, please call our office as soon as possible so we can make arrangements to accommodate you the same day or reschedule for another day.
Getting here
We are located in the beautiful 200 Ashford Center N building in the heart of Dunwoody, GA, just north of Perimeter Mall and I-285.
Arriving by highway can be tricky, but is the most straightforward path. Please be mindful that because of the construction on GA-400 and I-285, there are many temporary highway lanes and exits that GPS maps on phones or in cars are not accurately displaying.
If you are arriving via GA-400, please follow the signs to take the Abernathy Rd NE exit. When you exit, head East towards Dunwoody, and make a left (NE) on Mt. Vernon Rd. In about 1 mile, make a right turn onto Ashford Dunwoody Rd, and take the first left into the 200 Ashford Center N building entrance.
If you are arriving via I-285E, take exit 29 towards Ashford Dunwoody Rd. When you exit, head North for just under 2 miles and make a right turn into the Ashford Center N building entrance.
Visitor parking is free on the first and second floors of the large parking deck.
Accommodations in Atlanta
We often have patients traveling from out of state asking for good local recommendations when visiting Atlanta. Fortunately, Dunwoody is an ideal area to come visit for dining and accommodations, and its close proximity to other bustling suburbs and the heart of the city make for a great home base. We partner with the AC Hotel Atlanta Perimeter in Dunwoody to help bring you a home away from home. Please call our office to request preferred rates.
Financing & Insurance
We are “Out-of-Network,” with all insurances, it simply means that if there is a difference between OUR fee and the Allowable Fee set by your insurance, you are responsible for the difference. Our fees are based on “Usual and Customary Rates” for our area (based on zip code) and are usually still within or very close to the Allowable Fees set by a lot of insurance companies who base benefits on the Usual and Customary Rates. For most patients using their Out-Of-Network benefits, for Preventive and Diagnostic Services there will often be either a $0 or very minimal out-of-pocket cost. A lot of our patients still prefer to come to us since most of the work we do is specialized and unique.
Also, keep in mind that when you are using your Out-Of-Network benefits, it also means that you are not usually subject to as much downgrading for services. Some insurance companies stipulate downgrades for certain procedures for patients using In-Network Providers. For example, your insurance may estimate to pay a higher percentage if you are going to an in-network provider, but, say, you need a crown on a back tooth. If you are going In-Network, some insurance companies will say they will only pay for the silver, amalgam crown on a back tooth, not the white, ceramic crowns that our office does and which almost all patients want. For an in-network provider, you are subject to that downgraded benefit and responsible for the difference. If you go to an Out-of-Network Provider insurance sometimes doesn’t have those same stipulations.
Please keep in mind that there are thousands of different insurance plans with all different stipulations for services.
We check on your insurance coverage and submit your benefits on your behalf as a courtesy. You are still responsible for understanding and knowing your benefits.

Patients can split purchases into smaller, more manageable monthly payments. Cherry performs a soft credit check, so applying will not harm your credit score.
