About Us
At Bloom Holistic Dentistry, we provide high quality, personalized and comprehensive dental care in Atlanta for adults and children in a comfortable and friendly environment. Holistic dentists view the mouth and airway as integral and interconnected parts of the whole body. Our passion stems from partnering with you in your health and wellness journey.
As a holistic or integrative dental office in Atlanta, we evaluate and treat the entirety of the mouth’s structures and functions as it relates to overall health and wellbeing. Therefore, our approach is to examine and treat structures of the mouth in ways that also improve the vital functions of breathing, chewing, swallowing and sleep. We practice with a strong emphasis on minimally invasive practices, preventative care, nutrition education and the importance of oral hygiene to boost the body’s natural immunity.
Bloom Holistic Dentistry uses revolutionary enhancements in dental imaging and technology to further improve our detail and accuracy for cosmetic cases, Invisalign or similar clear aligners, and even produce and place same day crowns in-house! Whenever we can, we strive to collaborate with leaders in other specialties such as nutritionists, myofunctional therapists, physical therapists, physicians and naturopaths in order to provide integrative solutions for your health and wellness goals.
Meet the Doctors
Dr. Zahra Punjani, DMD IAOMT
Dr. Punjani's eyes were opened to the world of holistic medicine and dentistry with her own personal journey overcoming a debilitating health issue. She sought out various doctors and specialists, and underwent multiple tests, but only achieved a sense of health and balance after pursuing more natural, intergrative and lifestyle based treatments and practices. She is highly motivated to make sure no patient feels helpless or hopeless as they embark their own journey of health and wellness.
After the birth of her first daughter, she began to pursue a higher understanding of airway dentistry in order to understand her daughter's own challenges with tongue tie and jaw development. In her training, she quickly realized the importance of practicing airway dentistry as a holistic dentist as it affects so many aspects of children's growth and development, learning and behavior, and in adults plays a very important role in sleep apnea, energy and mood.
Patient care comes first. What she's learned in her years of practice is that by creating a comfortable and safe space for her patients to discuss their dental and overall health concerns, and together create treatment plans that are individually tailored.
To achieve a holistic lifestyle, Dr. Punjani learns and attempts a new way to improve overall health, from cooking a new nutritious recipe with produce that’s currently in season, to incorporating traditional medicine techniques such as Ayurvedic medicine into her lifestyle. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, outdoor sports, travel and dance with her husband and wholesome daughter.
With her passion of practicing whole body dentistry and her purpose of serving her patients, rest assured that you have a partner on your journey to better health.

Dr. Mijung Myung
Dr. Mijung Myung is familiar with Holistic medical practice as part of everyday life. Growing up in the Republic of Korea, Dr. Myung was able to witness and experience the pairing and mutual respect between Western Medicine and Eastern Medicine. In Korea, the referral of patients between hospitals and scientific medical practices and Hanbang, the Traditional Korean Medicine, are common. Hence, the idea that Western medicine and Hanbang which looks at the human body from a holistic perspective are not exclusive to the other formed at an early age for Dr. Myung.
A dedicated dentist with clinical expertise, Dr. Myung seeks to look beyond a patient’s teeth and mouth, keeping the whole body and her patient's well-being in mind when creating a treatment plan. Dr. Myung holds a doctorate in Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine with a Health Literacy certificate and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Emory University. Dr. Myung was inducted into Honos Civicus Scholar Society and Albert Schweitzer Fellowship for her commitment to public health. While providing treatment to the patients of Good Samaritan Health Center, Dr. Myung mentored dental students as a clinical adjunct faculty at Dental College of Georgia. Her career in community health services has influenced and deepened her philosophy that the “whole” health of the patient is priority.
Dr. Myung is committed to providing the utmost treatment for each patient, building trust through her care and creating a comfortable environment for patients to feel at ease. When Dr. Myung is not in the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, S.E., and son, Jacob. Her favorite pastime is to read and journal while tucked away in a cafe with an extra-hot chai tea latte.
